Well, first off we are Jonathan and Lisa and we met in February of 2001 and were engaged on August 27th of the same year.  We got married on September 27, 2002 in a small private ceremony. Jonathan passed (8/23/03) his RI Real Estate Salesperson's License exam and is working for Keller Williams Realty.  Lisa, while having had a myriad of jobs over the past few years including landscaper, baker, furniture maker, and more, is currently doing graphic design along with online retailing. She grew up in a small New Hampshire town and is still getting her bearings, but has really taken to Rhode Island.

We have several animals. Tipper is a Coone Hound / Doberman mix and was born in the summer of 1999. Sandy is a Cocker Spaniel and was born on December 5, 2004. Elsa is a Maine Coone Cat who was born in 1998.  Misty is a little grey Siamese mix, and while she was actually born in 1998 we think of her as our little baby.  And last, but certainly not least, was Goldie.  She was a twelve year old tabby who passed away. Our coat of arms was designed by Jonathan.  The gold shield and red bar with stars are from the "traditional" French coat of arms for Roy.  The Fleur-de-Lys is from the Bourassa coat of arms (Lisa's family).  The Bear is a personal symbol for Jonathan and the Phoenix, besides being a favorite symbol of Lisa's, represents Jonathan & Lisa's new life together rising out of the losses they have both suffered.  The motto above the shield means "Without Passion, Nothing" and started as Jonathan's quote in his high school yearbook of "Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm," which is attributable to Ralph Waldo Emerson.
